INVESTMENT, PRIVATE EQUITY AND EMERGING MARKET (E.X. MIDDLE EAST ECONOMY)
The tri-layered seminar topic will pave the way to understand the fundamentals of the investment and swiftly introducing Private Equity investment type. Then, it will bring the understanding of emerging market into the equation, evidently, having a special focus on two recent trends in investment; (class type: private equity) and (market focus: emerging markets) in which the political economy in the Middle East would be highlighted as an example of the emerging market.

Sultan is an ex-banker and currently an Investment Speaker & Visiting Professor in USA and Europe.
Skills
1. Students will be able to identify & understand the fundamentals of investment; principles, instruments and asset types. 2. They will understand the Private Equity and its value as an alternative investment class and be acquainted with its role and added value in investment portfolios. 3. Student will learn to differentiate between different markets and engaged more in analyzing emerging markets and study in depth the composition of the political economy in Middle East.
