The purpose of this seminar is to introduce Blockchains and Bitcoin, a new financial system that has the potential to have a big impact on the way the world does busi¬ness. Its open ledger system and distribution network make it a valuable system. Although it is still in its infancy, as Bitcoin becomes larger and more sophisticated, it may very well provide solutions to many of the current financial system’s problems.
